Shirley Claudia Buising

MADISON – Shirley C. Buising, age 92, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 after a short illness. Shirley was born on November 30, 1923, in Appleton, Wis., to Edwin and Claudia Rogers. After high school graduation, Shirley joined the Women's Army Corps where she became a surgical technician serving stateside during WW II. Shirley met her husband Jack L. Busing during this time. Shirley is survived by her daughter Suzanne Shain (Paul). Shirley enjoyed many activities while residing at Sterling House Assisted Living. You could find her enjoying cards, crafts and storytelling time each day. Friends called her the life of the party.  Private services will be held at a later date. A special thanks to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare, the staff at Sterling House Middleton and Sharon Borland for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare.
