Dar was my second mother. While growing up and living across the street, I would be knocking on her door every Saturday as soon as the drapes opened. We shared lunch and "just hung out". She would also take me uptown for shopping and lunches out. It was through Dar's lunches that I learned the fine art of etiquette. After getting married and moving away, Dar was still important; going over to their house when we would come to Monona. Christmas Eve was our family get together. For many years Dar, Jim, and Grandma Alice would be there celebrating with us....Tis the season, as James K would say....Will miss you, but you are forever in my heart....Love you, Sher
