MIDDLETON-Robert G. Blandino, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Robert is survived by his brother, William (Anita) Blandino; and sister, Randi Sherry. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Blandino; mother, Lila Blandino; and sister, Kathleen Tiedt. A Graveside Service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Dr., Monona, at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Bob has called me many times over the past years. Little did I know, his final call would come just over a month ago. His voice was weak; his words slurred. I couldn't understand what he was saying. I regret not getting that call. I had no idea the end was so near. Bob began each call and v-message by saying, "Hi Janie, this is Robert, your Brother-in-Law." He would tell me of some endeavor he was involved with and when finished, his call ended abruptly...never much back amd forth communication. Bob battled mental illness for almost as long as I knew him. Signs began in the early 70s. He fought an ongoing battle, one he'd never win. The battle is over now; the enemy finally defeated. Bob, you can now rest...a well deserved rest. Rest In Peace, Robert. Love, your sister-in-law, Janie.
