Obituary
MADISON - Dolores G. Beckman, age 95, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Nazareth Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on Sept. 24, 1926, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Ira and Olga (Bjelde) Napstad.
Dolores graduated from East High School in 1944. She married Leo Beckman on June 24, 1950, at Eastside Lutheran Church. Dolores was a member of Eastside Lutheran Church where she was active in her younger years. She loved playing cards especially euchre, traveling around the world, camping, socializing, and spending time at the family cottage on the Wisconsin River.
Dolores is survived by her sons, Paul (Cheryl) Beckman and John Beckman; sister, Adaline (Jim) Rothweiler; and grandchildren, Wendy Beckman, Erica Beckman and Kyle Beckman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; parents, Ira and Olga; and brothers, Irven Napstad and Gaylord Napstad.
A funeral service will be held at EASTSIDE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2310 Independence Lane, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Burial will be held at Blooming Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
