Terry J Ripp

Martinsville -Terry J Ripp, age 58, after a three year battle with cancer, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 15, 1959, in Prairie du Sac, Wis., the daughter of Ed Olson and Linda Burkhalter-Rhodes. Terry graduated from Lodi High School in 1977. Terry worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation as a project manager of Aeronautics. On October 2, 1982, she married Roger Ripp at Chapel Hill of Indian Lake. Terry had a variety of interests including watching Ashton Home Talent Baseball, playing pool and softball, motorcycle rides, and hosting family get-togethers, especially at Christmas. She enjoyed sharing a cold Busch Light with anyone willing to have one. Terry enjoyed her time spent with family and friends but treasured most being a Grandma. In addition to her husband Roger, Terry is survived by her four sons, Travis (Lizzy), Derek (Chelsea Noltner), Austin (Tami), Toma (Kourtni Busch); her step-daughter, Tanya (Ed) Hoene; eight grandchildren, Steven, David, Vivian, Emma, Axel, Robert, Levi and Damon; her father, Ed Olson; step-father Curly (Connie) Hewitt; her in-laws, George and Donna Ripp; "sisters" Bonnie Maier, Michele Wipperfurth, and Rose Karls, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Burkhalter-Rhodes, her step-father, Jim Rhodes, and step-mother, Elaine Olson. A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave, Middleton, from 4pm until 7pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017.
