My memories of Dolly are how perfect her hair always was but why not she had the beauty shop right next to the chamber office where I worked. As time went by, I could always count on her homemade pumpkin pies for the Historical Society’s Ice Cream Social, even when she arrived carrying them on her walker.

Sandy, Pam, and families, I have such happy memories of Dolly - she always had a smile on her face whenever I saw her. May only happy memories sustain you in saying goodbye to your Mom.

I was so shy then and Ted promptly spilled his salad in his lap.Oh my gosh we laughed so hard and Ted turned beet red. time for a drink Mom said. we enjoyed seeing them thru the years,May you share good memories as you go without your Mom. I cherish the memory of working with Dolly in the wigs for patients program at UW Hospital. I was employed in the volunteer office at the time she was managing this program and occasionally filled in if no volunteer was available. I saw first-hand what a lift it gave to patients who so much to deal with, and I admired Dolly's initiative in making it possible. Hers was a life well-lived.

Dear Sandy, Pam, Teri and Paul, I was sorry to read about your mother yesterday. She was a very nice neighbor to have for our family. She and Vonnie Hanson were good friends, & even though I didn't get to know her very well, Vonnie would talk about her. She was such a successful business woman, that I admired. And Paul I remember our conversation about her when we saw each other at Dean clinic on Fish Hatchery Road. It was good to see you then & hear about your family. I send my sympathy. Ann Sowaske
