So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We worked at First Realty together in the 1970-80's. With the help of Frank Jr, your Dad was most generous in providing his professional assistance in helping me advance as a General Appraiser. When I called him to ask for help he responded with " Sure, I think we can do that", and never asked for compensation.. At times in my career I would refer to your Dad and think, what would Frank do in this situation? A true professional and a true nice guy.

Mr Pohlkamp ( never called him Frank) was my first boss at the Old Stamm House. I was 13. 1966. I learned my hard work ethic from him and at times he was a father figure for me. He was always patient and kind to me as I learned the ropes of the kitchen. I worked there several times per week washing dishes and breading fish. Mopping floors and was always the last one out of the kitchen. I got to know the whole family as they all worked together to create a wonderful family style restaurant which endured for many years. I went to school with most of the kids. I worked there for 3 + years. My condolences to the whole family. I am so sad to hear of his passing as he has been and always will be a part of me that I am proud of. Nick Volenec.

Francis Pohlkamp family: Sorry to hear the loss of your dad and our dear uncle..
He was a very warm, patient, loving, kind, generous and caring person. I always loved it when he came to our farm near Buckman, MN. Always liked to see many of his children come with him to Minnesota and also enjoyed seeing his wife and our Aunt Mary. He always had time to talk, give a hug and listen. We have so many good memories of your dad. I always wished that he lived closer to us and we didn't live 400 miles away from him.
May he rest in peace. God Bless you all,
Carol (Pohlkamp) Mike, Breanna and Brandon From
