Janet Parr

MIDDLETON - Janet Parr, age 84, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026. She was born on September 18, 1942, to Russel and Lois (Miller) Frye.

Janet graduated from Blue River High School in 1960. On June 1, 1963, she married James Parr in Richland Center. Throughout her life, Janet was dedicated to her home and family, spending many years as a devoted homemaker and a long-time caregiver for children. She enjoyed spending her time playing softball for two decades, bowling, and visiting the casino.

Janet is survived by her husband, James Parr; sons, Mark Parr and Chuck Parr; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Marlys, Marla Jean, Marvalee, Marlyn, Marilyn, Mariel, Carol, Vaughn, Joan and Kevin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russel and Lois; son, Bradley Parr; and siblings, Anita, Cheryl and Vurdette.

A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Interment to follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens.
