Barb and Phil were friends and roll models to Jack and I when we first started dating 26 years ago!! We loved hanging out with them, laughing with them and golfing with them. They will be deeply missed!! 💕

Barb was a wonderful neighbor and talented author and crafter. Her children’s books tell insightful stories about making friends. I enjoyed sharing the cute doll clothes she made with my own granddaughter. I will miss her visits to the back yard when I’m outside gardening. This is a grievous loss to Craig and the whole family to lose both parents/grandparents in the same month. My sincere condolences, Chris Wooddell

To Barbs Family, I am both shocked and saddened by Barb's passing. We had just heard of Phil's death, so this seemed impossible. Barb was my best friend in High School. We had many good times together. I also knew Phil very well as he and I rode on the same bus to school. I was at their wedding. Barb and I had reconnected about ten years ago. We would see each other at the Blanchardville Alumni Banquet, and send messages back and forth on the internet.I will miss both Barb and Phil as we had been friends for about 70 years. Love to Barb and Phil's Family, Bernadette Cleary Routhieaux

Phil and Barb were wonderful neighbors. My heart went out to them when they each had their diagnoses. Barb was always very artistic and generous. She made my granddaughters doll clothes and she invited me to see the wonderful crafts she made with recycled materials. She was also generous with her time and skills. She donated a lovely robe for a girl to wear in the hospital. I loved getting to walk outside with her. She gave me a copy of children's books she wrote a lovely memoir. I will miss her dearly. My sincere condolences to the family. I can't begin to imagine the grief of losing both parents so close together. Especially two such lovely people. Mike and Nancy Kern
