I have great memories of playing around the neighborhood when I was a kid and living on Esser St. Paul was one of the neighborhood dads, part of the neighborhood gang. On warm summer nights, the men would put a picnic table in the street underneath the street light, and play cards. There was lots of card playing inside too. Paul was a very handy man, and always happy to help out. He was nice, funny, and always had a twinkle in his eye. RIP Paul Falkenstein.

I also have very good memories of Paul Falkenstein from when we lived at the funeral home. I remember the men playing cards under the streetlight and in the homes. He always did a lot of laughing and I also remember that twinkle in his eye. I remember him and father Vic would take Denny and George fishing and hunting which is good because my dad didn’t Do those things. That introduction gave George a love of those things for a lifetime. I remember a good neighbor always willing to have fun and Always willing to help out. RIP Mr Falkenstein. The world is a better place because of him.
