I will miss his smiling face walking down the hallway of the Administration Building at Central Wisconsin Center. Always stopping to say good morning. His dedication to research and Central Center will never be forgotten. He was a very special person.

milt fischer was my boss at central wisconsin colony in what was my first real job after graduate school at the university of wisconsin. i remember him very fondly as a very smart and gentle man, a good scientist, and an excellent mentor. we kept in touch by christmas cards for many years after i left wisconisn and then lost touch. i am very sorry to learn, belatedly, of his passing and offer my sincerest condolences to his family.
