Timothy Casey

WSJ-SUNDAY- 6-18-19 Photo/Flag Casey, Timothy Roy MADISON–Timothy Roy Casey, age 70, of Madison, passed away on June 14, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on Oct. 5, 1946, in Madison, the son of John and Julie (Roy) Casey.  Tim attended Catholic Grade Schools in Lansing, Mich. and Watertown, Wis.  He graduated from East High School in 1964 and went on to get an Associate Degree in welding from MATC. Tim served in Germany during the Vietnam Era. He married Barbara Fuss in 1969.  Tim worked as a milkman, welder and in clerical and custodial fields for the State of Wisconsin.  He played baseball in his youth and in later years enjoyed fishing, photography, eating out and spending time with family and friends.  Tim is survived by his son, John (Janna); and grandsons, Noah and Isaac; a brother, Rodney (Mary); sisters, Colleen (Ken) Roeder, Beverly Massey and Nancy Casey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and former wife.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARIA GORETTI CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, with Fr. Tom Coyle officiating.   A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the service on Tuesday.  Burial with military honors will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, 3054 County Road BB, Madison, following the luncheon.  Our dad, big brother, uncle and friend was a quiet man with a big smile and sense of humor.  His faith in God and love of family and friends helped him through the ups and downs of his life.  Our heartfelt thanks to all who kept him in their loving care at the VA Hospital, Alden Estates, of Jefferson, and Heartland Hospice.
