Betty Jane Prucha

LAKE WISCONSIN-Betty Jane Prucha, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Good Samaritan Society – Lodi. She was born on April 13, 1928 in Portage, the daughter of George and Cora (Astle) Krueger. Betty married Richard James Prucha on July 19, 1946; he preceded her in death on April 6, 1994. She was a stay at home mother. Betty was always helping others. She enjoyed camping, traveling and snowmobiling. Betty had a hug for everyone. Betty is survived by her children, Richard (Carolyn) Prucha, Victoria (Roger) Henn, Gene Prucha, and Georgia (Ronald) Johanning; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Shannon) Prucha, Fred (Toni) McChesney, Jenny (Bobby) Annen, Erin (Jason) Bryan, Rebecca (Kyle Inman) Johanning, and Steven Johanning; sister, Doris Paske, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; daughter-in-law, Lesli Prucha; two brothers, and five sisters. Funeral Services will be held at DEKORRA LUTHERAN CHURCH, N3099 Smith Rd, Poynette, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 with Reverend Ryan Rouse presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
