Obituary

LODI-Betty Jane Krueger, age 95, of Lodi, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at home with family by her side. She was born on January 9, 1924, in Lodi, the daughter of John and Martha (Rader) Bartholomew. Betty was employed as a Chef for the Pine Cone Restaurant, Attic Angels and the Sun Prairie Candy Co. until her retirement. Betty had a variety of interests and was an avid Packer fan but loved most cooking and the time she spent with her family. Betty is survived by her daughter, Judy Buchanan; her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Krueger; her grandchildren, Lisa Krueger, Sandra (John Lamb) Krueger-Lamb, Carla Krueger, Betty (Travis) Quamme, Daniel (Maggie) Krueger; her great-grandchildren, Amanda Cooke, Jacob Roelke, Harold (Tori) Roberg, Ashley Roberg, Kayla (Keith) Bracken, James Yates, Delana Yates, Brooke Acker, Elijah Quamme, Caleb Friedell, Owen Krueger, Abby Friedell; her great-greatgrandchildren, Kaydeen Hall, Devon Hall, Harold Roberg, Jr., Grayson Roberg, Olivia Skinner-Roy, Evelynn Skinner-Roy, Jenson Bracken, Hope Bracken, and O'Ryan Bracken; her sisters, Dorothy Kowald and Margarette Rizer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles in 1980; her son, Warren; her siblings, James Bartholomew, Mabel Thurber, Victor Bartholomew, Robert Bartholomew, Lloyd Bartholomew, Lola Thurber and Joseph Bartholomew. A celebration of Betty's life with will be held at HARMONY BAR, 119 Main St., Poynette, Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice for all the tender care they provided Betty in her last week of life.
