LODI - Mary "Pat" (Willy) Haberli, age 88, passed away on January 20, 2026.
Born in Freeport, Illinois, on November 8, 1937, to Augusta (Gerlich) and Carl Willy Sr., Pat was a 1955 graduate of Galena High School and a 1958 graduate of Saint Anthony School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in Rockford, IL. She began her career as an office nurse for Dr. William Gilles in Galena from 1958 to 1960. On June 18, 1960, she married Jim Haberli, and they moved to Lodi. She dedicated 35 years to nursing, working at Sauk-Prairie Hospital and Lodi Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
A devoted member of the community, Pat served on the parish council at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Christian Women’s Club and enjoyed her time with the Lodi's O.N.O. Women’s Club. She cherished her family, the home Jim built for them in 1964, traveling with friends, and vacations in Door County.
Pat is survived by her children, Lori (Stephen) Saager, Lynn (Keith) Maier, and Marc (Kelly) Haberli; her grandchildren, James, Matthew (Elizabeth) Saager, Gavin Maier, Nicholas, Nathan, Owen, and Maren Haberli; her great-grandchildren, William and Eleanor Saager; her brother, Carl (Julie) Willy; her sister-in-law, Lois (Tom) Abrahamson; and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Haberli; her brother-in-law, Arnold Haberli and sisters-in-law, Helen (Hank) Simon, Marion (Bill) Baudhuin and Teresa Haberli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MAXIMILIAN KOLBE PARISH AT ST. PATRICK CHURCH, 521 Fair St., Lodi at 11 am on Saturday February 7, 2026. Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Lodi. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
The family would like to thank special friend Trish Wickham, the staff and residents at Legacy of DeForest and BrightOn Hospice, especially to her nurse Megan and physician, Dr. Rian Podein.
