Dolores E. Dohm

LODI-Dolores E. Dohm, age 87, of Lodi, peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was born on June 14, 1929 in Madison, the daughter of William J. and Eva M. (Statz) Niesen. Dolores married Donald Dohm on June 15, 1948. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1984. Dolores worked at the Lodi Canning Company for many years.  She was baptized, confirmed, graduated from, and married at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Martinsville, WI.  She was a long-time member of St. Patrick's Church in Lodi.  She spent many hours volunteering and visiting friends in nursing homes.  She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, traveling, bus trips and the Fireside Theatre.  Dolores loved most, time spent with her family and friends. She is survived by four sons, James (Linda) Dohm, Gerald Dohm, Don (Denise) Dohm, Mike Dohm; daughter, Luann (Jeff) Soule; daughter-in-law, Audrey DeWitt; 17 grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Frank Niesen and Bob (Karen) Niesen and her special friend, Aggie Ganser.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents; sisters, Rita (Joe) Kaltenberg, BettyAnn (Clarence) Ziegler; sister-in-law, Rosina Niesen; an infant sister, Rosemary; her son, Daniel; daughter, Karen; granddaughter, Jennifer; and her great grandson, Noah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST PATRICK'S CHURCH LODI, 521 Fair St, at 11:00 am on Monday November 7, 2016. Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the church.
