George Junior Buckley

LODI-George J. Buckley, age 89, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017.  He was born May 1, 1928 to George and Laura (Searles) Buckley in Reedsburg, Wisc.  George graduated from Lodi High School in 1946 and entered the military serving in the U. S. Army.  He later worked for the Columbia County Highway.  George was united in marriage to Delores Eckstein on July 18, 1953.  Together they raised 3 daughters.  George later married Margaret Fisk on Nov. 6, 1976.  They spent years wintering in Gulf Shores, Alabama and traveling the United States.  George is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughters,  Juanita (Pat) Ross, Cynthia (Dave) Ramsfeld, Connie Simpson; stepchildren, Paul (Sheri) Fisk, John (Helen) Fisk, Mary (Fred) Hohlstein, Alan (Kathy) Fisk, Margaret Benish (friend Michael), Ellen Fisk and David (Kelly) Fisk; brothers, Thomas (Midge) and Gerald (Judy); sisters, Evelyn (Buel) Cooke and Virginia (Anderson) Lehr; 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert, Arthur, Kenneth, Royce; sisters, Evangeline and Isabelle; son-in-law, Richard Larrabee; step-son, Ivan Fisk; grandson, John Dean Fisk; great-grandson, James Neubauer; and numerous family and friends.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED TRINITY PARISH AT ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 521 Fair St., Lodi, on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.
