Joanlee Bakke

DANE-Joanlee Bakke, age 74, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the North Central Healthcare in Wausau. She was the daughter of Sherman and Garnet (Pierce) Everson and was born on November 21, 1942. Joan married Glenn Bakke on April 20, 1963. She worked at WPS for 20 years. She was a member of Dane Immanuel United Church of Christ. Joan was an avid reader and loved to play the organ. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Joan is survived by her sons, Brian, Allen and Scott; granddaughters Natalie, Lauren and Addison; siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glenn; son Bruce, sisters-in-law, Alice Bakke and Nancy Bakke; brother-in-law, Ralph. Funeral Services will be held at DANE IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 300 N. Military Road, Dane, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Burial will follow at Dane Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main Street, Lodi from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
