As her step son I will always remember how she never was one bit short of the most loving mother I could ever have hoped for. I spent a lot of time with her after Dad had passed. Anytime I walked into the room she always smiled and lit right up. even on days she wasn't feeling the best. I will always remember those late day phone calls to her to see how she was doing and with my sisters calling during the day hours this gave her something to look forward too. we had her covered morning to night. If I missed a call she always called me next morning to make sure I was 'ok'..And to remind me I never called last night! I will never know how she handled such a large family. The only real answer is LOVE. She had so much for so many. What a example for the younger mothers to follow. Love you mom. I will miss you but the promise I leave you with. I will call you when I get to Heaven. Gene

Phylis was a wonderful person. My best memories of her was when we had senior get -togethers and she and Loyd would play tricks on me. If there were 10 tables they would mark mine number 11, or remove my silverware when I went for dessert. May God be with your family. Jerry Riley

I met Phylis when we moved into Prairie Park about 4 years ago. In our conversations there I learned I had worked with her daughter-in-law Anna. We became good friends and had many regular conversation especially during the pandemic when we were restricted from in person visits. Phylis was a special lady who loved all her family. She loved to visit and was up to date on current affairs, She was gracious lady and fun to be around. Her faith kept her strong during difficult times. She will be missed by all who knew her. God has a special place in heaven for her, may she Rest In Peace Lois Grans
