What a blessing to have you as a second Mom...my "Mom #2" as you'd say. Thank you for everything that you have ever done for Kevin, myself, and all our kids. The love that you've shown me all these years is something that I will cherish dearly. You have been such a blessing in my life since I first met you in 1993. I love you so much, and will miss you dearly. And don't worry I "will keep an eye on that one" for you.

To the Rundle kids. My deepest sympathy at the loss of your mom, my sweet aunt Joan. I'm so glad I got to see her last Christmas and speak to her last week. I will cherish those memories along with those of fun times shared with you, especially when we were little at your farm. I know your grief is great but I hope your love, faith and warm memories will carry you through now and forever. Know that she is in a better place and I bet there is one heckuva family reunion! Much love and sympathy, your cousin Jeff Stern

My Aunt Joan was a wonderful person. She was full of live and love. She spread her kindness to all who knew her. We had so much fun when we went to the Fire Side or at the family reunions. We shared love and hugs and I will miss her dearly but, rest in peace Aunt Joan. I will love you forever. Mary Kuth

Joan was my Bingo buddy, eating buddy, sitting outside buddy, and my friend and I will miss her a lot! My name is Helen Thompson. We gossiped together and enjoyed the same humor. She was a great lady and would give anyone the shirt off her back if needed. Until we meet again someday...she will be missed.

It is with sadness that I have learned my former senior swimming partner has passed. Joan was such a good, thoughtful person with a great, albeit quiet, sense of humor. A wise, respected lady, Joan will be remembered with fondness and truly be missed by her friends. -- If I have the name correct, Angelina was a big part of Joan's life during our time together in Verona. My condolences to you, Angelina, as I know you are missing your wonderful grandmother.

Joan was a wonderful individual. We shared many hours of talking in the exercise pool. Joan had exceptional wisdom and understanding of people, their good and their failings. I truly missed her when she moved from Verona. Although our phone call became fewer after she moved and started a new life, I remember her with complete respect. Her subtle humor was especially missed. A great lady who was a positive influence on those who were fortunate to cross her path.
