Edward Carl Hillebrand

CROSS PLAINS-Edward C. Hillebrand, age 88, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.   He was born on March 6, 1928 in Cross Plains, the son of John and Ida (Schulenberg) Hillebrand.   Edward was employed with the DNR as a foreman where he retired after 30 years of service.  He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Mary Kay Hillebrand (Jonathan), Rose Hillebrand, Ann Hillebrand (Mike); son, Charlie (Juli) Hillebrand; granddaughters, Jessica (Chad) Brewer, Lexi Hillebrand; great granddaughters, Danica and Marissa Brewer; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Hillebrand and Virginia Hillebrand and many relatives.  Edward was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jerome (Cora), Norbert, Herbert and Joseph and an infant sister Lucille.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains at 3:30 PM on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 with Father Thomas Kelley presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:30 PM until the time of the Mass.  Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
