Karin Edith Swanson

I am very sorry for your loss. Karin helped in my kindergarten classroom years ago (15?) at Neil Armstrong School in Bettendorf. I really enjoyed getting to know her. She did have an interest in so many things and was fun to talk with. We would talk about so many different things. We discovered Sonja and I both attended Augustana and both had lived in Andreen. She was also generous. One Christmas she gave my daughters, ages 7 and 9 at the time, American Girl doll paper dolls and a book about the Tomten (spelling?). She gave me a beautiful Orrefors vase that I still have and love. I have thought about Karin many times since I got to know her. She had a true lust for learning and was an inspiration. Kathy Fry
