Obituary

MIDDLETON-Shawn D. Lynch, age 52, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Oct. 19, 1963, in Ripon, the son of Daniel and Dolores (Flasch) Lynch. He married Susan Landers on Sept. 14, 1996, in Oshkosh. After graduating from Oshkosh West High School in 1982, he attended Fox Valley Technical Institute earning a degree in Data Processing and Marketing. Shawn worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue since 2001. He had a variety of interests, especially enjoying fishing, the outdoors, rollercoasters and traveling throughout the U.S. with Susan. Shawn is survived by his wife, Susan; parents; sister, Sarah (Andrew) Olson; step-daughter, Carrie (Andrew) Leschke; three step—grandchildren, Michael, Rachel and Ashley; grandmother, Helen Lynch; brother-in-law, Roger Hinze; nieces and nephew, Ian Hinze, Calista Hinze, Savannah Olson and Alexandra Olson; and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Lynch; sister, Laura Hinze; maternal grandparents, Alois and Vera Flasch; and paternal grandfather, Bernard Lynch. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 1 p.m until 4 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, with a prayer service at 1 p.m. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Agrace HospiceCare for their loving care. I'm so sorry to hear of Shawn's passing. I remember him very fondly from our high school days. He was always a kind and loving guy and it was a delight to be involved in the drama department with him. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

Dearest Susan and Lynch Family, I so sorry for the loss of Shawn he was quite the man he was so giving to his family and friends . Went out of his way to make some one fell better and help them with what he could. was a good friend and I will miss him . He was very helpful at Rev and I learned a lot from him and I'm proud to call him my friend and my hart aches for you all .
