Caryl Marie Rossmaessler

MADISON- Caryl M. Rossmaessler, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at her home. She was born in Madison, the daughter of Wilbur and Adella Replinger. On May 29, 1954, she was united in marriage with G. Niel Rossmaessler in Madison. Caryl devoted her life to their family. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren. Caryl was a charter member of St. Dennis Catholic Church and volunteered with the church, school and Girl Scout troops throughout the years. In addition to her husband, G. Niel, Caryl is survived by her children, Michael Rossmaessler, Mary Lee Rossmaessler, Ann (Levine) Wetley and Sharon (Barry) Doyle; grandchildren, Caroline and Patrick Doyle; sisters, Ruth McDonald, Audrey (Robert) Breiby; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Richard, John and Phillip Replinger. Funeral services will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Rd., Madison, at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, with Father Randy Timmerman presiding. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will take place at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., with a rosary service beginning at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 and also at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
