BLACK EARTH-Frances C. Topp, age 103, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth. She was born on November 25, 1912, in Madison, the daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Duepper) Houlter. Frances married Carl Topp; he preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by her two sons, John (Janet) and Robert; four grandchildren, Randy, Vicki, Robert (Tina) and Judy Topp; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Beth and Kevin Topp and Chris Shackett; her sister Alice Kelly and other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Carl, she was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Jane Ann; her grandson Rick; her daughter-in-law, June Topp and her brother Jerry. Honoring Frances wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.. Since You Could Not See My Mom-You Really Started To Deteriorate:( Well-You Are Reunited With My Mom Now! You Can Be With Your Daughter Also. Frances and my mother shared a room at heartland nursing home. She was always a joy to talk with. very sharp and sweet. my condolences to her family. Ray Ingold.
