Obituary

DEERFIELD-Patricia A. Martinson, age 68, of Deerfield, passed away on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1948, in Madison, the daughter of Raymond and Marian (Riley) Munson. She married Steven Martinson on Sept. 17, 1975, in Madison. Patricia worked for Webcrafters for 24 years. She enjoyed crocheting, baking brownies and monster cookies, and watching the Brewers and Packers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Patricia is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Samantha (Kenneth) Rogers, Carmen Ames, Gino (Diane) Martinson, Stephanie Martinson, Steven (Sara) Martinson, Jennica (Eddy Alba) Valdez and Phillip (Jennifer) Martinson; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Florence Schmudlach, Gloria (Mike) Lewis, Alice (Jack) Moen and Charlene Stroede. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Raymond and Ronald Munson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, with Chaplain Stephen Zwettler presiding. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home café. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
