John was one of our leaders in Boy Scouts and had a very good sense of humor and would let us get away with some stuff to a point but then start yelling at us when we had gone to far. He was a good teacher and was fun to be around most of the time and I have good memories of him, best wishes to his family .

Colleen and family, sending prayers as you mourn John's passing. Colleen and I have been friends for many years and as a social worker I worked with her when she needed help with resources for John. What a wonderful, loving couple. Sending love! Judy T.

John was a very good man. He was a big influence for me in getting my Eagle Scout Award. He had a great sense of humor and a good scout leader. He was always at scout meetings and camping trips and made them little more fun. My condolences to his family and sorry for your loss. Steve Boreen

I'm so sorry for your loss. As a Boy Scout leader, Mr. Hario sacrificed many weekends and evenings to developing men of me and many others. He was a good, patient, and generous man; the world is impoverished by his passing.
