STOUGHTON- Over 100 people have benefited from Michel's donated gift of life. Michel Lee Carpenter, age 17, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, at the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison. He was born on July 19, 1999, in Grand Forks, N.D, the son of Micheal Carpenter and Adrienne McGee. Michel would have been a junior at Stoughton High School this year. He loved spending time with family, hanging out with friends, music, mission trips and volunteering at vacation Bible school. Michel was a fan of on-line gaming forums and was fascinated with nature and all creatures big and small. He is survived by his parents, Adrienne and Christopher McGee and Micheal and Sarah Carpenter; siblings, Erika, Morgan, Rylee, Connell, Jacqueline, Destiny and Kaden; grandparents, Glenn (Karen) Bradfield, Mike (Ruth) Carpenter, David VandenLangenberg, Diane LeBreck, Dan (Ann) McGee; as well as extended family, friends and pets. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Melissa May Carpenter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ANN CATHOLIC PARISH, 323 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, with Father Randy Budnar officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given on behalf of Michel to St. Ann Catholic School, Stoughton.
