I am so sorry to read of your loss. May your many shared family memories bring you comfort. The scriptures remind us that Almighty God is close to those who grieve, he "is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) My sincerest sympathy to all of you.

I wish i had seen the notice sooner. I first met Don when he had the Open Pantry store on Atwood Ave. He was a great guy and always so up beat. I am sorry for your loss. Bob Gonzalez

Sorry that i missed seeing this - Don was a wonderful man, we always enjoyed getting together with he and Phyllis at Bobbie and Arts - playing cards. I enjoyed working for him at his store, as did my sister. I can still hear his laugh. My deepest sympathy.

Shirley and I were blessed to be next door neighbors of Don and Phyllis on Winnequah when they built their new home. Candy, Steve, and Terry became friends of our kids too.. Many great times during the too few years we were together. Wonderful, fun folks for too short a time. Bart Klotzbach
