Norman Leroy Lindeman

Lindeman, Norman L.MADISON/DODGEVILLE-Norman L. Lindeman, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at Meriter Hospital.  He was born on March 13, 1931, in Muscoda, the son of Walter and Ruth Lindeman.  Norm was united in marriage to Joan Kuenzi on June 26, 1954, in Dubuque, Iowa.  He was drafted in 1951 and served in the Korean Conflict until 1953.  Norm worked at Zimbrick for 19 years and then Russ Darrow for 36 years, retiring in 2012 at age 80.  He could fix anything, he loved puzzles, word searches and working on cars.  Norm also loved to play dartball at Holy Cross Lutheran Church where he was a member for 48 years.  He and Joan could be seen walking all over town from their home on Spenser to Capital Square and all over East Towne Mall.  Norm enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.  Norm is survived by his loving wife, Joan; son, Steven (Donna) Lindeman; daughter, Debbie (Bob) Guyer; grandchildren, Mat (Alicia) Lindeman, Mike (Katie) Lindeman, Betheny (Steve) Miller, Blake (Danielle) Guyer and Cally Guyer (Matt Schmal); sisters, Dorothy (John) Husum and Rosemarie (Marty) Lenz; eight great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert, Raymond and Walter Lindeman; sister-in-law, Jean Rowe; and brother-in-law, Glenn Rowe.  Funeral services will be held at HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2670 Milwaukee St., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, with the Rev.
