We were so saddened to hear of Joann's passing. She was such a warm and loving person and always a lovely smile on her face. And little Dixie, a special love in the lives of both your mom and dad. We've known your mom and dad for many years and they both are surely missed. Our deepest sympathy to the family. We certainly share your sorrow.

We were neighbors of you Father and Mother when we lived at Retirement Village in Prairie du Chien. When JoAnn and Dick would go away we would watch their house and likewise they would watch ours. Dixie was the love of their lives and Dick would stop at our place when they walked and we would give Dixie a treat. We certainly enjoyed your parents. Rod and Rosemary Ames Mason City, Ia.
