Obituary

MIDDLETON/ARENA-June Marie Topp, age 71, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.  She was born on November 29, 1944 in Leeds, the daughter of Milton and Emma (Paskey) Kusrow.  June was united in marriage to Robert F. Topp on November 30, 1963.  She was employed with Fish Building Supply and a much loved crossing guard at Sauk Trails Elementary School. June had a variety of interests including sewing and needlework, gardening, playing cards, crafts, cooking, sitting by the fire-pit, watching movies, especially Dirty Dancing, birdwatching and Vince Gil music, but she truly treasured most the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert; two children, Judy Topp and Robert J. (Tina) Topp; two grandchildren Beth and Kevin Topp; mother-in-law, Frances Topp; sisters, Arlene Moody and Carol Johnston and many other relatives and friends.  June was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Anna Kastorff and nephew Rick Topp.  Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 6:30 pm on Friday, August 5, 2016 with Reverend Randy Hunter presiding.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:30 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arena Fire/EMS Department. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.  Such love we had and will continue to have as Mother will continue to watch over us every step of the way.  We saw a bird of eternal life...a hummingbird just outside the window in the flower garden, a sign that mom is already doing her thing.

My wife and I have had the sincere pleasure of living next to this incredible woman for 6+ years now. June was such an amazingly kind soul. Nothing brightened up our neighborhood like seeing June's smile and her excited wave as she drove by or saw us from her garden. It hasn't been the same in recent months without seeing her around, and it was a long day for my wife and I after we learned of her passing. June hasn't left my thoughts since and home won't be the same without her right next door. We miss you June. Our thoughts are with you and your family Bob.

Sincere Sympathy to Bob Topp and the family. I worked with Bob at City of Middleton. I knew that the Topps were married 2 days after our wedding. We missed the Topps when they moved from Middleton. The Topps would have been married 53 years this November. I know It will be difficult for that special day to come and June will be celebrating in Heaven. Take care Bob. Hy and Jim Miller
