Obituary
SAUK CITY-Lisa Marie Ramsden, 60, of Sauk City, kind hearted counselor, avid bargain hunter, yoga instructor, beloved sister, and a spectacular mom, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Agrace Hospice Care of Fitchburg. Lisa graduated from St. Louis University with a Master's Degree in Social Work and served as a counselor in Dane County Family Court Services. As her interests grew in her healthy lifestyle, she became a yoga instructor and shared her knowledge freely teaching others. She was born in the city of Chicago, Illinois on May 20, 1956, the daughter of the late Chester J. Bednarzyk and Elaine O'Sullivan. Lisa is survived by her children, Nicholas C. Ramsden and Christopher "Chip" Ramsden, of Sauk City; her siblings, Paul J. Bednarzyk, David J. Larsen, Margretel (Steve) Carey, and Loretta (Wade) Loveless and nephew Jonathan Carey. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, David. A valiant fight against recently diagnosed lung cancer, Lisa displayed grace through every procedure given her by an excellent team of caregivers at the University of Madison Healthcare.A Memorial Service will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 12 (Noon) on Saturday, July 9, 2016 with Pastor Rick Badger of New Beginnings Alliance Church, Madison officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
