So sorry Anne, Mary, Meg and family. I remember when I was in High School at Edgewood, she and I would end up taking the bus home together occasionally. I always enjoyed talking about our relative Nicholas Geib who was in the Iron Brigade during the Civil War together with Aunt Betty. She will be sorely missed. I'm sorry we won't be able to attend the funeral as we will be out of town but you will all be in our thoughts and prayers.

The Lyons family offer our condolences on the loss of your Mother, Betty Richter. Our parents, Bob and Eileen Lyons were from Clyman, where Bob Lyons and Earl were best friends. In those days, Earl was nicknamed "Spike". I recall talking with your mother and father at our Dad's funeral. They were both wonderful people. Our sympathies to all of you.

Anne, Mary, Meg we just learned about your Mother's passing. She was a wonderful person. I am very lucky that she was my beloved Aunt Betty! We both shared an avid interest in history. Bettywill be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Mary Straub emailed us the Gunderson website . We appreciate her doing that. We are now living in Arizona and do not get Madison area news here. Our condolences. Kathleen (Straub) and Jim Van Sistine
