Michael Perez

MADISON-Michael L. Perez, age 83, of Madison, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on May 30, 1933, in Gary, Ind., the son of Micha and Emma Perez. He married Darlyne Ray in June of 1956. Michael was a member of the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War. He worked for the City of Madison – Water Department for 36 years. Michael is survived by his children, Lynn Allen, Michelle (Kevin) Baumann and Michael "Tony" (Crystal) Perez; grandchildren, Dan, Larry and Danielle Allen, Janelle Ipsen, Carrie Keesling, Jason and Brandon Robinson and Angelina and Caden Perez; sisters, Rosemary (Don) Fanning and Alice (Darrell) Hampton; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Burial will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
