Kathryn Brownell

MADISON-Kathryn L. (Pecosky) Brownell, age 68, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Hannah's House. She was born on April 19, 1948, in Madison, the daughter of Michael and Helen Pecosky. Kathy was self-employed with her own cleaning business. She could brighten up a room with her smile and had a great love for dogs. Kathy also loved to be around people, to share and to laugh. She enjoyed listening to the radio and her favorite food was waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and a malt. Kathy always watched the news and knew what was happening and willing to share. Her faith in God played an important job in her life. Kathy is survived by her brother, Michael (Debra) Pecosky; nephew, Michael (Heather) Pecosky; niece, Heather (Jason) Vandehaar; great-nephew, Henry; and uncle, Andrew Pecosky. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Friday, June 17, 2016, with Father Michael Radowicz presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
