Roger Winfield Uphoff , Jr.

MCFARLAND- Roger "Butch" Uphoff Jr., age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at home. He was born on April 25, 1948, in Madison, the son of Orma (Serstad) and Roger W. Uphoff, Sr. Roger worked for Capital City Transfer/Bekins Van Lines and a few other moving companies. He loved traveling the highway and seeing the country. He considered himself "The Wanderer." Roger enjoyed being with family, friends and his pal, Lady Bug. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and the out-of-doors. Roger is survived by his sisters and spouses, Judy Brausen, Donna and Larry Brackett, Darlene and Don Penisten and Mona Cass (Eric Carlson); his significant other, Sandie Kluever and her family, Carol Kluever-Martinez Torres, Adrian and Alanna Martinez; his children, Shannon Dubel, and Allen Michael and Shy Ann Carstenson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother-in-law, Art Brausen. Services will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 401 Femrite Dr., Monona, at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016.
