Lillian Rose Wirth

MADISON-Lillian Rose Wirth, age 88, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on Feb. 3, 1928, the daughter of Elmer and Marie (Getts) Christensen in Madison. Lillian graduated from Madison West High School in 1947. She met Stanley Wirth while working with him at the Celon Company in Madison. Lillian and Stanley were married on May 21, 1949, in Madison. Lillian is survived by her children, Jeff, Dave (Debi), Linda Miilu, Patty, Chuck, Eric, and Christy (Harold Smith) Sullivan; 11 grandchildren, Melissa (Matt) Tobias, Tom, Shanna (Chris) Mettke, Derek (Janna), Chelsea (Matt) Hustad, Josh (Tara) Gehrke, Darci, Adam (Mindy) Gehrke, Nick Bishop, John, and Susan Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Alice, Samantha, Bailey, Alizabeth, Kay-Lynn, Austin, Stephanie, Leland, and Kailey; two brothers, Elmer and Jimmy; and sister, Myrt. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Steven; siblings, Martha, Della, Chris, and Doris; and a daughter-in-law, Deb. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. A private family burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
