Obituary
MOUNT HOREB/CROSS PLAINS-Daniel L. Grosse, age 56, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 after a brief illness. He was born on January 26, 1960 in Martinsville, the son of Wilbert and Lucille (Kuehn) Grosse. Danny worked with MARC (Madison Area Rehabilitation Center) for over 30 years. He loved being involved in Badger Camp and Special Olympics activities and also enjoyed traveling, bowling and softball. Danny will be remembered for his infectious smile, his warmth and sense of humor. Dan is survived by a sister Jane (Kerry) Adler; three brothers, Tom (Colleen) Grosse, James (Jayne) Grosse, and Michael (Kimberly) Grosse and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a foster brother John Tanty. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARTIN OF TOURS MARTINSVILLE, 5959 St. Martin's Circle, Cross Plains at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016 with Father Tait Schroeder presiding. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to his support teams from Mount Horeb MARC Center, Avenues to Community and Community Living Connections, especially his case manager, Britney Sherman for enabling him to enjoy the activities he loved. Thank you also to the Agrace HospiceCare staff for their excellent care and support during his last days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Danny's name be made to any of the above listed organizations. We love you and will miss you Danny Boy. I worked with Dan at Kwik Trip and he always made people smile. Talking to him always made my day. He was a joy and pleasure to work with. We are missing him dearly! My sincere condolences to his family, everyone that worked with him, and everyone who knew him. I will have an orange for you "Mr Danny Mr Grosse"!
