Obituary

LAFARGE/MADISON/MCFARLAND-Beverly Meseberg, age 86, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016. She was born on April 1, 1930, in LaFarge, Wis., the daughter of Lewis and Erma (Cowan) Green. She married Claude Meseberg. Beverly loved to travel to places within the U.S. and internationally. Beverly was very independent, giving and loving. She was a selfless, kind-hearted person. She will be deeply missed. Beverly is survived by her children, Donnie (Jennifer) Meseberg, Caroline (Dennis) Halverson, Linda (Bill) Atkinson, Lyle (Vicki) Meseberg, LaDonna (Jack) Bethel and Richard (Sue) Meseberg; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude; grandchild, Tim; and great-granddaughter, Ashley. Funeral Services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 5 p.m., on Friday, June 3, 2016. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday. A private family burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery in LaFarge, Wisc. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Agrace HospiceCare or the Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to thank the McFarland Villa for caring for Beverly these past nine years. I remember when the Mesebergs lived across the street from us on Field Ave. Mrs. Meseberg was very kind and didn't seem to mind all the activity of teenagers coming and going in and out.
