Obituary
MADISON-Gerald Kenneth Bethke, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He was born on August 29, 1925, in Milwaukee, Wisc., the son of Chester and Ida Bethke. Gerry was united in marriage to Evelyn Bethke on March 22, 1952, in Milwaukee. He is survived by his children, Bruce (Kathy) Bethke, Paul Bethke (Natsuyo Aoyama) and Lynne Bethke. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; his parents; brothers, Chester and Donald; and sisters Patricia (Daniel) Lapadula and Marlee Bethke. A private graveside service was held in Madison on Friday, April 22, 2016. Memorials may be sent to Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg, Wisc. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I went to MUHS, class of 71, I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful teacher and man your dad was, I wasent exactly a model student and had my share of problems growing up, I think youer dad knew that and was patient and kind to me. He tried so hard to try to get me to grasp algebra , sorry for your loss, reading his obit brought back good memories of your dad! Dennis S
