Mary Anderson

MADISON—Mary C. Anderson, age 89, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare, after a long, wonderful life. She was born on Aug. 8, 1926, in Madison, the daughter of Joel and Evangeline (nee Woider) Chittenden. Mary graduated from Madison East High School, class of 1944. She was united in marriage to Arnold Pedersen on May 10, 1952. He passed away on May 18, 1975. Mary was then married to Carroll Anderson. She loved to travel and read, but her true joy in life was her children and grandchildren. Mary is survived by her son, Richard Pedersen; daughters, Bonnie (Dave) Brickson and Kris (Jeff) Simon; grandchildren, Brittany, Bryan, and Scott Brickson, and Reid and Dylan Simon; and step-children, Mark (Linda) Anderson, Paul (Lynn) Anderson, Karen (Dick) Nohel, and Marybeth Anderson. She was preceded in death by Carroll; her parents; and brother, Robert. In accordance with Mary's wishes, services will be private.
