Linda Rose Millard

MADISON-Linda R. Millard, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on March 12, 1949, the daughter of Lawrence and Lorraine (Theis) Breunig. Linda married Larry Millard on May 17, 1980, at St. Martin's Catholic Church, in Martinsville. She worked for the State Department of Revenue for 42 years, retiring in 2010. Linda enjoyed quilting, shopping with friends, going to the Arlington Horse Track, and watching the Badgers, Brewers and Mallards, but spending time with her family was what she treasured the most. Linda is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Angela Millard; mother, Lorraine; sisters, Joan Cole and Louise (Denny) Powell; brothers, Arnie (Jennifer) Breunig, Charles Breunig, Phil (Linda) Breunig, and James (Lisa) Breunig; mother-in-law, Geraldine Millard; brothers-in-law, Lewin (Marie) Millard, Lynn (Barb) Millard, LaVern (friend, Teresa) Millard, and Lyle Millard; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence; infant brother, John; father-in-law, Wilbur Millard; and brother-in-law, Steve Cole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, with Fr. John Silva presiding. Burial will be at St. Martin's Catholic Cemetery, Martinsville. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016, and at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday.
