Im so sorry to hear about Virgil. I always like talking to him and looked forward to hear more stories he would tell me about my grandparents. I was also happy that he suggested it was a good idea to continue to try to stay in contact with our dad even if under difficul circumstances. I will and and I know the whole family will miss him.
You will be in our thoughts.

I remember as a young girl visiting Uncle Virgil in his garage. I was particularly impressed with his worm farm and all the little drawers he made for them to be in. He always had a purposeful project going on to challenge his intellect and benefit his household. I admired his ability to always acknowledge that there are two sides to every argument and how he calmly expressed his opinions. I am grateful for his ability to help my mom when she was troubled. There were always healthy vegetables in his garden that he diligently tended. His advice on growing your own food was, "I would rather eat an apple with a worm hole in it, than a apple that a worm would not go in to." You are in my prayers.
