Obituary
LODI-William Xavier Prieve, age 25, passed away on April 1, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on August 17, 1990, the son of James and Audrey Prieve. William graduated from Lodi High School in 2008. He completed a two year UW Madison Farm and Industry short course. William's love for farming continued throughout his life. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time talking with other farmers and veterinarians about farm life. William loved spending time with family, playing card games and reminiscing. He always put others needs before his own. William is survived by his parents; brother, Zachary (Bailey) Prieve; nephew, Maxwell; grandma, Diane Karls; uncle, Richard (Bonnie) Karls; aunt, Fay (Steve) Schmitt; aunts, Cheryl Brown, Kathy Campbell and Lou Ann Acker; Uncle, Donald (Rebecca) Prieve; godparents, Steven and Louise Benesh and several cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Karls and Donald and Mary Jean Prieve; uncles, Jack Brown, David Campbell and Jeff Acker and his beloved dog Sarah. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH DANE, 109 South Military Rd., Dane, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 with Reverend Father Chad M. Droessler presiding. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Lodi. Visitation will be held at the church in Dane from 9 a.m. to the time of the Mass on Tuesday. Family requests memorials to be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Association. A special thank you to the Neurosurgery Department and medical staff for the wonderful care they gave William the last 22 years at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, Wis.
