Dearest Betty, You were the Kindest Woman to me... You were there when i needed a ride home from the Funeral Brunches that we help at.... I surely missed you when we moved to Arkansas.. We are now living in Baraboo.. You are now with God and his Angels.. Also with your beloved Family Member...

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I have many fond memories of hanging out at Betty's house while growing up with her daughter Pam. Betty always made her home welcome to all of her childrens friends. Her's was the home away from home. I will miss her deeply. God bless this wonderful woman for being the sweet generous person she was. RIP dear sweet lady.

As a child, I loved going to the Radtke farm...our parents played cards inside while we played in the outbuildings. There was always laughter & joy -- it was truly one of my favorite childhood memories. And so much was due to Betty at the helm. We would relish coming into the kitchen to see if Bill was in the "doghouse" -- a little wooden house on the wall if I recall. He never was. Betty was the sturdy mom, the get it done mom, the hard working farm mom. She balanced raising a family, working through loss, having fun, and good common sense. I always figured that she could handle anything. So to my Jeannette and all the other Radtke kids...thank you for sharing your home, family, childhood & mom with this city girl.........who now happens to live on a farm. May her memory be for a blessing.

I hope that all of us can have the strength and ambition that Betty had. I will always remember her pretty smile. Love, Jackie
