William Donald Adler

MADISON/NEW LISBON-William Donald "Bill" Adler, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Agrace HospiceCare during his sleep, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on Nov. 29, 1941 in Middleton the son of Donald and Anita (Sipple) Adler. Bill graduated from Edgewood High School in 1960. He worked in construction and cement across Wisconsin and Texas. Bill was united in marriage on Oct. 24, 1975 to LaVonne Boetzel. His hobbies included woodworking, fishing and baseball. His love for the CUBS was never ending. Bill is survived by his sisters, Ann (Jack) Anderson, Jane (Matt) Swartout; brother-in-law Dale (Judy) Boetzel; granddaughter Tiffany (Dustin)Reineck; great-granddaughter Willow Reineck along with several nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by Kimberly and Allison Hall, whom he lived his final years with, where he was affectionately known as "UB". Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife; step-daughter Terry Taylor; in-laws Vernie (Florence) Boetzel; brother and sister-in-law Bob (Becky) of Alaska and a grandson Jake Adler. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton from 1 PM until 4 PM on Saturday March 26, 2016. Memorial donations may be made to Agrace.
