Obituary
MADISON– Loyce F. Morrissey, age 78, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016, at her home. Loyce was born on Nov. 26, 1937, in Dallas, Texas. She would often talk of her early years of living on a farm, and saying "We all came from strong pioneer stock". Loyce loved all animals, but she especially loved her horses that she kept at Tuck-A-Way Campground. She enjoyed camping and riding. Loyce was self-taught at playing piano and guitar. She enjoyed folk-country music, cowboy stories, and getting her hands in the dirt for her garden. Through experience she became a legal secretary and worked until the age of 72. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lawrence; six children, Debra (Billy) Noltner, James (Terri) Edwards, Laura (Kenny) Scarbrough, Sandra (Andrew) Homburg, Janette (Terry) Rippentrop, and John (Wendy) Morrissey; nine grandchildren, Lucas, Michelle, Max, Kelly, Lauren, Val, Mitchell, Mari, and Liam; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Lexi; her brothers, Jerry, Danny and Larry Capps; several nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Shirley Tunis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo "Jerry" and Helen Capps. A celebration of her life by her family will be held at a later date.
