I remember Brenda St Clair. I used to babysit her kids, Wendy and Tracy. I was nothing more than a troubled teen myself and yet she was trusting and giving. She gave me a chance to earn some pocket money where alot of people might not have. She gave me my first job! I will miss her and remember her fondly.
As they grew up, I was having kids myself. Wendy started to babysit my kids and still remembers their names!
My deepest sympathy to you girls. (yes girls..you will always be 'girls' to me!) Sending prayers that you find comfort in your memories.

I miss you already Grandma. You were always one of those people in my life that I never gave much thought about losing. Gma always had a bold personality, took smack from no one! You never think of one day not having that kind of personality around. I'll always remember tyrading around Lodi Elementary School while Gma was trying to clean the rooms. Breaks down in the boiler room, playing with the gym scooters and basketballs because she couldn't get much done if she had to make sure we weren't into something we weren't supposed to be. She gave me my first sips of coffee, introduced me to art while sitting in her chair with her watching "The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross." She used to draw for me, let me have milk and chocolate at night while sitting down to a movie. Gma introduced me to the love of reading by furnishing me with my first serious novels in The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. Not to mention all of the holidays, the bon fires at her house, fishing at Crystal Lake, and yes, even the wiffle ball bat for when we were naughty! I would give anything to have her spank me with that thing just one more time. It broke my heart leaving her in that hospital room for the last time 5 days ago, I know she wasn't there anymore, but as strong and as bold as she was, it was unimaginable that life could escape her. I'll miss you dearly beloved Gma, Yahweh will resurrect you assuredly at the appointed time. Until then, rest easy Old Friend, and until then, remember, I'll always be your knucklehead. I love you.

Brenda and I are first cousins, and had a lot of fun times as young children. She was in my heart and mind as a very special person, and will remain there until we meet again.

I will never forget Brandy. I worked with her for many years. We had our differences but when she had to retire early I really missed her. She was a lot of fun to work with and would have done anything to help her coworkers. She was a good friend when I lost my son Jeremiah. She would console me when I had a hard day. She will be missed by many.
