Mary and Jim embraced our family when we started to attend their Church. Mary and I would make a point to sign up together as hostesses between services. We had so much fun and she always made me feel so welcomed and loved. Through the years when I would see her, she was always such a warm, bright light as we made eye contact and hugged. I loved her strength and unconditional love she gave my family and others. Mary was such a loving, tender, sweet lady and I am going to miss her very much. I know she is in my heart and will continue to show her love around us all.
Blessing to Mary's Family and those she touched.

My thoughts are with your family. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Peterson as my first grade teacher. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience her compassionate teaching style. I still remember her laugh and smile.

I will never forget Mary. She was a warm, wonderful person who had a kind word for everyone and a great sense of humor. Mary and I started teaching in the Lodi District around the same time. I always admired her love for her students, her patience, her hard work, and her commitment to excellence in her profession. Mary was a much-appreciated, supportive co-worker and friend who was understanding and easy to talk with. My sincere condolences to her family! Alice Cunningham

Aunt Mary, you were the most loving, caring and thoughtful person more than can be described. I will cherish all of the cards and letters sent over the years from you. I was blessed to have you as my Aunt and will miss your kindness and gentleness. Thank you for sharing who you were and I will forever remember our last visit together and hold that in my heart realizing that that would possibly be the last time I see you until we meet again in Heaven. Give Great Grandma Ida and Grandpa a hug and kiss from me and Cheyenne. We love you.
